The BMS operate many projects throughout the world and seek to publicise the plight of the poor and the suffering. Many missionaries with key professional skills are supported by the society. The society also operate programmes for volunteers who want to experience short and medium term missionary work

As the name of this ministry suggests, this project is about showing the love of Jesus to Romania by caring for street children. Set up by medical student, Suzie Havard, this project has grown by faith that God wanted her to do something practical. The vision of Jesus Loves Romania is to provide housing and support so that these children may grow up knowing the love of Jesus and have a 'family' where they can belong, and one in turn that they can work to support
