It’s about a journey for me. From my wonderful Mum, Gloria, who is here this evening thank you very much for coming, packing us three kids off myself, Danielle my eldest sister, Kerry my youngest sister to a Catholic church when we were only little.
It’s about a reaffirmation of my faith now, in my adult years. I always knew Christ was in the background for me and has always been with me every step of the way. It’s about a moment of forgiveness when I asked for it from my heavenly Father in Lourdes when I went on a wonderful holiday with my best friends Chris and Heather who I cycle with – and I’m mad keen on cycling as everyone knows!
To a very special lady, my wonderful Auntie, who is sitting here — thanks for being here, who has never given up praying for me and for a return to my faith. And where I met another warm and wonderful lady also, Tracey, who persisted in exhorting the values of Alpha to me, which I thoroughly endorse and I’ve been on and would recommend to anyone to go on because it’s fantastic.
To Bushey Baptist Church, to everyone in here that I’ve got to know and spoken to. To all the wonderful people that have helped me in the teaching of our Lord Jesus Christ — I’d just like to say thank you to everyone for that. That’s it! |
